Apparently banana skin is ‘food waste’? But egg shells are ‘general trash’? This system is harder than my calculus class. Someone please explain the rules before I get deported.

Just remember the ‘Pig Rule’ 🐷: If a pig can eat it, it’s Food Waste (Yellow bag). If it’s too hard for a pig (like eggshells, chicken bones), it goes in General Trash.

Yes i heard about the rule.
My korean friend told me the reason is that food waste in Korea is actually recycled into animal feed, so this logic works most of the time!
